Senate passes Self Driving Cars bill

The US Senate passing the Self Drive act is a remarkably progressive act from a somewhat arguably (at least at the moment) regressive country.  Leadership aside, this will hopefully set a precedent for other countries to follow suit, further hastening progress with self driving cars.

Humans are great at a lot of things.  Making correct decisions under stress, operating under difficult conditions, having consistent rapid reflexes and working without emotion are things we are nto great at, and are synonomous with operating a motor vehicle.  The self driving car will usher an entirely new era for humanity: less accidents, more convenience, cheaper costs, less congestion.  Can't wait.
